OSP License is a location based license. Therefore, if you have two branches of your company, then you will need to obtain two OSP Licenses in order to conduct OSP operations.
If you want to run national and international OSP on a single floor, then you need not two, but three licenses. Two licenses will be the OSP Licenses, and the third one will be the Infra-sharing license. The third license is meant for infrastructure sharing.
If you want to engage with IT enabled services like Tele-banking, tele-trading, tele-education, ecommerce, call centres, network operation centres etc. Then under the regulations of Department of Telecommunication, you need to obtain OSP license to use the telecom resources to run OSPs.

Within six months of completion of the financial year, the OSP must submit “Annual Return” to the registering authority. The annual return must indicate the details of the activities of the previous financial year and the status of their continuing the OSP operation. Once the status is validated, the operational OSPs shall be put in the Active OSP list. Those OSPs who do not submit the annual return for consecutive three years will be put in the dormant list and their registration will be cancelled after keeping them for two years in the dormant list. Such list would be made available on the DOT website.
Interconnectivity between Domestic and International OSP is not permitted by the DOT.
